Get on the phone right now and tell that Aunt, through circumstances, not of your control (and none of her business) you are an "irregular" publisher.
There is a big difference, as she should know, in being inactive, and in being irregular.
Your Aunt wants to keep you away from your Grandma. Do not allow her to win. You say you have been inactive for only 3 months. No bid deal. Life happens.
Tell her if she doesn't know the difference, she should pay more attention at the meetings. Throw it back in her face and make her step down, from off her high horse. (From little me...who's exhusband & only sister are just waiting for me to do or say something, so they can, with perverse pleasure, hear I am df'ed. They who themselves know they have done kazillions of things wrong, are wanting me to go down. I haven't done anything, and they hate my guts for it.) And they are at the KH, early, smiling, making friends and commenting...trying to make their own white washed graves, look shiny, new & bright. Disgusting.

a friend of mine i'm in lust with, has been trying to convert / recruit me.
she's been very pleasant with me and very patient with me.
she hasn't been very pushy which i appreciate.. she's even said that if at anytime i'm getting smothered or feel this religion isn't my thing, to say so and she will stop asking about it.

I was in love with a worldly man, once, a long time ago. Would I have had a better life with him, than the Elder I married? Of course. Would my children have had a better father, if I married the worldly man, yes. Would I do it. No. I was trained to want an elder. Sounds stupid, now.
The wife, he married, he has a great partnership with. They both, with their children, have had fulfilling lives. They lived and loved, now. They didn't put life on the back burner, like we are brain washed to believe. Serve God now, live your life later...is a dumb campaign slogan.

that is what prompted this thread.. three years ago, my parents died, a few weeks apart.. my brother, only son, oldest of us 3 kids, is da or dfed, long time ago.. no one even let him know, his mom and dad had died.. his son, or our 1st cousin, i don't remember which, called several months later, to let him know.. do you know of any other xdubs, this cruelty, has been afflicted upon?.

There have been so many cruelties imposd on my brother.
I lived 100's of miles away, and was fighting for my own survival. So I didn't go but at least I was given the option.

yesterday at 3 am my grandfather.. 95 more or less... passed away after a heart attack... i got the call at 8 am.
so i am the oldest grandson (out of 40) he was faithful, (thats what they want to say) reality is he wasnt, he cursed, he drank, he had plenty of women during his life.. he was an elder at some point and he was ultra good with everyone.
he had a heart of gold... he treated me as his son, he never cared about my status.

Your Grandpa...95 years old, leaves 40 Grandchildren, and his oldest Grandson, you, talk about his heart of gold and what a loving, kind and good man he was. I am glad you had such a great Grandpa. i was just curious if any of you growing up in the truth were overly scared of armageddon?.
when my mom came into the org.
in the 70's,the only so called kids book was the paradise lost book.the pictures in that book scared the pants off me!at night when i was lying in bed,if i would hear a loud plane go over head,or there was a thunder storm,i was sure it was the start of armageddon and i would be sooooo scared.i was wondering if i was the only one overly scared,or if their were others.. also,was anyone out there extremely frightened of the demons?i would hear all these crazy experiences of people having problems with demons,and i was sooo frightened they would come bother me.maybe i was just a big old scaredycat,but if any one else has any experiences,please post them!
when i was a kid, i kind of lived in my own world.
i thought i knew everything, but as i grew older i realized my biggest problem was that i only halfway paid attention to the world.
